Payment Policy
Effective and last updated: 7 September 2026
This policy applies when a user pays a society charge through 9Floors using Razorpay.
What you pay
The checkout amount is generated securely from the outstanding 9Floors bill. Review the society name, unit, billing month and amount before authorising payment.
Processing
Available methods are shown by Razorpay and may vary by device, bank and account. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own limits or charges. Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with 9Floors staff.
Confirmation
Do not pay again if checkout is interrupted after bank debit. Return to Maintenance and check payment history first. A verified 9Floors receipt number is the confirmation of successful recording.
Failed or pending payments
Bank debits for failed transactions are normally reversed by the bank or payment provider under their timelines. Send the Razorpay payment ID, date, amount, society and unit to support if the status remains unresolved.
Fees and taxes
The bill may include maintenance, repair, festival, amenity or other society-approved charges. Any gateway fee or tax displayed before payment forms part of the amount authorised by you.
Security
Orders are created by the 9Floors server. Successful checkout responses are signature-verified and reconciled with Razorpay before a society payment record is created.

This public policy explains the platform’s standard process. A society may publish additional by-laws or collection rules; mandatory law prevails if there is a conflict.
